Today is a special day. Not just because it's your birthday. Turns out, quite a few interesting things happened on this very specific date.
Let's take a little trip back in time.
On November 26, 1922, a British archaeologist named Howard Carter peered through a small opening into the tomb of an ancient Egyptian pharaoh named Tutankhamun.
Imagine discovering a sealed tomb that had been hidden for more than 3,000 years. Inside were golden objects, statues, chariots, and countless treasures from ancient Egypt.
When his companion, Lord Carnarvon, asked him if he could see anything, Carter famously replied,
“Yes, wonderful things!”
And just like that, one of the most famous archaeological discoveries in history became part of the story of November 26.
